Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the application of nursing model of self-transcendence theory combined with modified Chaihu Shugan San in the postoperative treatment of breast cancer and its influence on patients' self-care ability. MethodsSeventy-two postoperative breast cancer patients were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group adopted routine care after breast cancer surgery, and the observation group was treated with nursing model of self-transcendence theory and modified Chaihu Shugan San on the basis of routine care, for a total of two weeks of postoperative intervention. To compare herth hope index (HHI), Chinese version of the self-transcendence scale (CSTS), Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA), Hamilton depression scale (HAMD), self-care ability scale scores and the levels of serum tumor marker between the two groups before and after the intervention. ResultsAfter the intervention, the HHI, CSTS and self-care ability scores of both groups were higher than before treatment (P<0.05), and the HAMA, HAMD scores and serum tumor marker levels were lower than before treatment (P<0.05). The HHI, CSTS and self-care ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after the intervention (P<0.05), and the HAMA, HAMD scores and serum tumor marker levels were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). ConclusionThe nursing model of self-transcendence theory combined with modified Chaihu Shugan San can effectively improve the hope, self-transcendence level and self-care ability of breast cancer patients after surgery, alleviate the anxiety and depression of patients, reduce the level of serum tumor markers and improve the quality of life.
