摘要:
从中医文献英译中的文化缺省、中医文献英译中文化缺省的原因以及文化补偿策略3方面探讨中医药术语中蕴含的丰富中国文化和哲学内涵，指出文化缺省成为英译面临的巨大障碍，文化缺省的原因主要包括文化差异和译者缺乏相应的认知能力，针对中医文献英译中的文化缺省，可采取文外夹注、文内明示、归化等策略以实现对文化缺省的补偿。
Abstract:
Abundant Chinese culture and philosophical contents in the TCM terminology were explored from cultural defaults in TCM literature translation, the reasons of cultural defaults and the strategies of cultural compensation. Cultural default has been a huge obstacle in translation, the reasons of cultural default mainly contained cultural difference and the limitations of the translator’s cognitive ability. The strategies of making notes, free translation and domestication could be employed to compensate cultural defaults in the translation.
