Based on the theory of "liver and kidney sharing the same source", the paper discusses the connec- tion between the theory and Rougan Huaxian granules from theoretical basis, the cause and the pathogenesis, summarizes the relevant clinical studies, and puts forward the further analysis and explanation of the mechanism, in order to provide a theoretical reference and a more comprehensive therapeutic method for clinical treatment of chronic liver disease guided by the theory of "liver and kidney sharing the same source".
