摘要:
总结海外中医译家威斯、魏迺杰、文树德的翻译思想，认为史学翻译可为读者提供充足的背景知识，使译文更具可读性；文学翻译可传递中医文化特征，助力中医文化自信；适度借用西医词汇并不等于中医西化。而中医翻译应当是史学翻译与文学翻译的结合，既能准确传递医学知识，又可体现中医特有文化。
Abstract:
This paper summarizes the translation thoughts of representative overseas TCM translators Ilza Veith, Nigel Wiseman and Paul U. Unschuld. The authors hold that historical translation could offer sufficient background knowledge to make the translation more readable, literary translation could provide readers cultural characteristics of TCM in order to boost the cultural confidence of TCM, and that appropriately borrowing Western medicine terms in translation is not equal to westernization of TCM. TCM translation should be the combination of historical translation and literary translation, which can not only accurately convey medical knowledge, but also reflect the unique culture of TCM.
