摘要:
探讨中医药语言的特点及中医药语言的常见障碍，指出中医药语言具有抽象性与复杂性、人文性与文学性、民族性和文化性的特点，导致英译过程中出现了望文生义、一词多义、缺乏对应语、修辞手法等多方面的障碍，因此，中医英译工作者应当努力提高中医素养，注重提高翻译能力，从而实现较高质量的中医英译。
Abstract:
TCM terms is abstract and complicated, humanistic and literary, national and cultural, thus leading to such obstacles in English translation as taking words too literally, polysemy, lack of equivalents, and rhetoric. Translators should improve their TCM attainments and improve translation ability to attain high quality translation.
