On the foundation of the relevant literature about TCM therapy of breast cancer published in the recent years, the paper summarizes the effects of TCM on breast cancer after the surgery, on the complications after chemoradiotherapy and adverse reactions, on the inhibition of cellular proliferation, invasion and metasis, on cellular cycle, cellular apoptosis and the reversal of drug resistance, hoping to provide theoretical basis for further clinical study on TCM therapy of breast cancer.
