The paper discusses clinical diagnosis and treatment of systemic connective tissue disease characterized by tissue lymphocytic infiltration starting from typical cases. The disease mainly affects exocrine glands with high incidences of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Though ILD accompanied by Sj?gren's syndrome (SS) is similar to the symptoms of the common one, the treatment is different because of various pathological foundation. In clinical work, on the foundation of the thinking of syndrome differentiation and treatment in TCM, we could realize that the theory of "dryness, toxin and stasis" is vital in the onset an development of SS and ILD, "clearing away dryness and moistening the lung, promoting blood circulation and detoxifying" could obtain better therapeutic effects. Meanwhile, we should focus on the combination of disease and syndrome, differentiating disease instead of syndrome, taking care of the spleen and stomach in the treatment, which could help raise clinical effects.
