摘要:
从文化缺省的角度，对中医五行学说的英译进行探讨，指出对于文化缺省的部分，译者可通过直接删除、文内明示以及文外加注三种策略将缺省内容进行补偿后再翻译，以期最大程度地传递中医文化的精髓，使中医获得越来越多的目的语读者的认同和接受。
Abstract:
From the perspective of cultural default, this paper aims to investigate the English translation of TCM five elements theory, it is pointed out that translators should exert themselves to make cultural compensations for the TCM language by means of direct deletion, intertextual interpretation and extratextual annotation so as to convey the essence of TCM culture to the target readers and enable them to identify and embrace TCM culture.
